Ms. Ketaki Bachal (Batch of 2015-2017, PG Dept. of Biotechnology, St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai) and her team is selected for this year’s SRISTI (Society for Research and Initiatives for Sustainable Technologies and Institutions)-GYTI (Gandhi Young Technological Innovation) Award 2021, for their work on-‘Lithography-less, Frugal and Scalable Microfluidic Device for Drug Discovery and Drug Screening’.
Ketaki Bachal currently is a Research Scholar in the M Lab (Materials, Mechanics, Micro-fluidics), Prof. Abhijit Majumder’s Lab, Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Bombay-76.
A total of 9 teams are selected for this year’s SRISTI-GYTI award. In earlier years, the Hon’ble President/Vice President of India used to give the award at Rashtrapati Bhawan/Vigyan Bhawan. This year most probably the ceremony will take place in virtual mode.
This work is the outcome of our DST IMPRINT project where Ms. Ketaki Bachal and Ms. Shital Yadav are working under the supervision of Prof. Abhijit Majumder (Chemical Engg.) and Prof. Prasanna Gandhi (Mechanical Engg)
