All students who have been admitted under Minority, Management, Sports, Handicapped (Disabled), LD Freedom Fighters, Ex-servicemen categories/quotas and also in the Open/General category at St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, are hereby informed that:
1) There is no need for the students or parents to visit the college now or in the near future to submit the hard copies of the documents/certificates that they have uploaded on the college admission link. A separate schedule will be displayed on the college website for the physical submission of hard copies of the documents and original certificates only after the closure of the entire process of admissions.
2) Request mails for change in their subjects will be considered only after all rounds of admissions are over, strictly on the basis of merit and availability of seats in those subjects.
3) No separate acknowledgements for payment of fees will be sent to any student as the soft copy of the payment receipt itself is the confirmation of admission.
4) The uploading of admitted students’ data for all categories on the government website is in progress, but it will take a number of days to complete the task because the government portal is slow and erratic, and sometimes it’s completely down. Students’ admission status on the government website will be reflected only after the uploading work is completed.
5) Students and parents are requested not to visit the college for any enquiry related to admissions as the entire admission process is online, and all relevant information is available on the college website (xaviers.edu), and the same will be updated as and when we receive new directives from the Education Department, Government of Maharashtra.
