The link for connecting to the ZOOM meeting and the procedure will be emailed to you at the email address specified by you in the admission application form before 10:00 pm IST on 25 August 2021.

Interview with Vice-Principal/Admissions Panel
Due to the ongoing pandemic, St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Mumbai, is conducting online (on zoom platform) interviews with the merit list candidates. The interview process is mandatory for every candidate to get their subject combination before they secure their admission. Candidates are not allowed to pay the fees without going through the interview process. After the interview, candidates will get their College Unique Identity Number (UID) for online fee payment, which will be applicable only for the specific candidate to remit online payment until the specified dates, failing which the offer of admission will be withdrawn no consideration will be shown. Every candidate who wishes to accept the offer of admission should remember to request for their UID before disconnecting from the ZOOM meet interview.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates called for interview in the second merit list have limited options of choice of subject combinations in Biological and Non Biological subjects. No seats are available in combinations with Statistics, Economics.

PAYMENT OF FEES
After the interview, candidates will get their College Unique Identity Number (UID) for online fee payment, which will be applicable only for the specific candidate to remit online payment till the specified dates – from 26 August to 30 August 2021, failing which the offer of admission will be withdrawn and no consideration will be allowed.

Procedure for the admission and payment of fees:
Students who have satisfactorily attended the interview with the panel and allotted subject combination can proceed with the payment of fees with the UID they received from the interview panel.

Kindly note that students should confirm their admission by paying the fees latest by 3:00 PM on Monday, 30 August 2021, along with submission of declaration forms. However, those who do not pay the fees by the specified time will forfeit the offer of admission.
Online Orientation Programme: There will be a mandatory online Orientation Programme for all students. It is important that students be accompanied by at least one parent/guardian when attending the orientation. The schedule (date and time) of orientation and the timetable for lectures will be announced on the college website. The tentative date for the commencement of lectures is 1 September 2021.
Request for change of Subject Combination
Students who are not satisfied with the subject combination offered can apply for a change. The subject change will be possible only against cancellation or availability of seats after the entire admission process is completed. Application for any change in combination will be considered only if the student has confirmed admission by payment of fees and on completing all admission formalities. The application for Change in Combination is available on the college website (www.xaviers.edu) and must be submitted before 30 August 2021.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
A particular subject combination granted in FY does not guarantee the desired subject in Second Year (SY)* and as a ‘Major’ in the Third Year (TY). The SY* and TY subject allotments are based strictly on merit (performance of the student in earlier semesters) and subject to availability of seats.
The College Academic Council has the right to offer or discontinue specific subject combinations of Double Majors granted in an academic year. It is a decision taken in consultation with departments and does not depend on the Double Majors subjects granted in previous years.
*The SY clause is specific to some Science combinations and not for Arts.
By paying fees, it will be assumed that the student agrees to the terms and conditions listed in the relevant ordinances of St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Mumbai, and the University of Mumbai.
