Students who have passed H.S.C. from St. Xavier’s College (Junior College) – Mumbai and wish to apply for admissions to First Year BA/B.Sc. courses are required to fill in the online application form. The application processing charges of Rs. 500/- are also payable online by debit card or credit card.
Regular students of this College, who were studying in SYJC Arts & Science during 2020 – 2021 and have passed the H.S.C. Board Examination, are eligible for admission as in-house students only in their respective streams B.A. or B.Sc.
Please note:
- Only ONLINE application for admission to B.A./B.Sc. will be considered for the in-house quota.
- Though admission is ensured to in-house students, the allocation of choice of their subjects or course combinations is based on merit and availability of seats.
- Attendance at the Orientation Program (online) is mandatory (date will be announced later).
- In-house student who has any disciplinary issues against them during their Junior College at Xavier’s, may not be considered for admission.
Submission of Online Application Forms for First Year B.A./B.Sc.: 5 August to 8 August 2021 (upto 3:00 p.m.)
In-house students application received after 8 August 3:00 p.m. will not be accepted, and if submitted, will be treated as NON-INHOUSE)
List of In-House students offered Admission (with Subject Combination) will be displayed on the website on 10 August at 3:00 p.m.
Payment of Fees: 11 & 12 August 2020
The University of Mumbai has made it mandatory for all students seeking admission to the First Year courses in the Degree Colleges to fill in the “Pre-Admission Online Registration Form” on the following link mum.digitaluniversity.ac
Therefore, all candidates (including in-house students passing HSC of February/March 2021) applying for admission to St. Xavier’s College for the First Year Courses i.e. B.A. or B.Sc. are required to fill in the “Pre-Online Registration Form” and select the course – “BA (Autonomous) (with Credits)-Regular-CBCS-FYBA Sem I” OR “BSc (Autonomous) (with credits)-Regular-CBCS-FYBSc Sem I”. College will allot provisional admission to students and confirm it after submission of hard copy of mark-sheet and other certificates.
