NOTE:
As per the Judgement dated 12 October 2017 of the Honourable Bombay High Court vide Writ Petition No. 1726 of 2001, Minority Colleges do not need to set aside seats for Backward Classes. This is reiterated by the University of Mumbai Circular (No. Aff./Recog.I/Admission (2018-19)/10/of 2018; dated 30 May 2018; Point No.2). Based on this notification, all the other notifications regarding Reservation of Seats during admissions are rendered null and void.
As per Ordinance of University of Mumbai 0.6086 dated 05/05/2014, 75% attendance at Lecturers/Practical’s is mandatory. Students joining this College are required to read and accept the provisions of the rules under Autonomy specially related to Attendance.
Students are expected to observe all the rules and regulations as regards discipline on campus. Students who have serious complaints of indiscipline against them during the year will not be readmitted to the college in 2022-23.
Students belonging to any one of the following categories Viz. PIO – Persons of Indian origin, OCI – Overseas Citizen of India, NRI – Non-Resident Indian, Foreign Passport Holder HAVE TO apply on the following website http://mu.admissiondesk.org. Application received on college website will be considered null and void.

Therefore, all candidates (including in-house students passing HSC of February/March 2021) applying for admissionto St. Xavier’s College for the First Year Courses i.e. B.A. (MCJ), B.M.S., and B.Sc. I.T., are required to fill in the “Pre-Online Registration Form” and select the following course: B.A. MCJ (B.A. Multimedia and Mass Communication(Autonomous) (with Credits)-Regular-CBCS) B.M.S. (B.M.S.(Autonomous) (with Credits)-Regular-CBCS-FYBMS-SEM I) B.Sc. (IT) (B.Sc. (I.T.) (Autonomous) (with Credits)-Regular-CBCS-FYBSc IT-SEM I)
College will allot provisional admission to students and confirm it after submission of hard copy of mark-sheet and other certificates.
