Minimum Qualification: Ph.D in Astronomy/Astrophysics (Candidates with Ph.D. in other branches of Physics will be considered if only candidates with a Ph.D. in Astronomy/Astrophysics are not found).
The tenure of appointment will be for 11 months on a temporary basis for a fixed term from the date of joining.
Emoluments will be Rs. 35,000/- per month for a candidate with Ph.D. Higher emoluments can be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates &those having teaching experience.
