Mr. Clyde Curry, 64, passed on to his Maker on 29 May 2020 of a heart attack.
He was the Administrator of Xavier Institute of Management and Research. He had been with XIMR for 15 years, but had always been available to all of St. Xavier’s College and XIC with his unbelievable range of expertise.
Clyde lived up to his life’s motto “Happy to Help” with his constant “Don’t worry I will take care of it”. Very rarely does one come across such a genuine, unassuming and lovable person who found happiness in rendering high quality service with a warm smile. He was strikingly a simple person, down to earth in his work, but with a boundless imagination for creative presentation. Very many events in the campus owed much to his creativity.
Many persons from professional colleagues to students have written in to say that Clyde was a gem of a person who endeared himself to all.
All who knew him were shocked at his sudden going, and will miss his cheery smile very much. May God grant him eternal joy and peace.
