Teaching Assessment Questionnaire (TAQ)

St. Xavier’s College is known for its attention to the holistic development of its students. Academics forms a very significant part of this development with teachers playing a vital role. It is hence imperative that the teachers and the teaching learning process be intermittently reviewed by the Management and the primary stakeholders i.e., the students. 

The students feedback about their teachers is captured via the formalized questionnaire called the Teaching Assessment Questionnaire (TAQ), which has been in place since 1971.

It is MANDATORY for every student to individually fill a TAQ for every teacher with whom a course is engaged with. This has to be done online for each course during the stipulated period.

 For this purpose ensure that you login to the college website: http://www.xaviers.edu and click the link provided for filling up the TAQ forms. The link for First Year’s students will be activated from 4th September 2019, and the link for Second Year and Third Year students will be activated from 16th September 2019.

These surveys are anonymous and your confidentiality is assured. 

The filling up of TAQ Forms for every course is mandatory for all the students of the college  and is a NAAC requirement. After the TAQ forms are filled up for all the courses the students can print the PROVISIONAL HALL TICKET for the End Semester Examinations. It is mandatory for the students to carry this provisional hall tickets to the exam along with their ID Cards.
